Abstract

The Village of Bourbonnais is responsible for the sanitary sewer system within the community. MG2A, a civil engineering firm has asked students from Olivet Nazarene University to assist in the following tasks to prepare the Village for compliance with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) guidelines: develop a waste maintenance plan that follows the guidelines described in the Capacity, Management, Operations, and Maintenance (CMOM) document; identify leaks within the sewer lines by designing an optimized monitoring network plan; and initiate an online information distribution plan using ArcGIS Online.
