Hell-o Bill,

This is a follow-up to our phone conversation earlier today concerning the Kankakee newspaper’s microfilm in Olivet’s collection.

As I suspected, Olivet has the same microfilm coverage as Kankakee Public Library. For the year 1906, the months of Jan. – March are missing on the reel. The 1912 issue for September, starts on September 6. I assume Carol, from the Kankakee Public Library, has looked for Edward Fountain’s obit there.

Olivet is currently in the process of correcting our catalog’s holdings for the microfilm. We will clarify that there are some missing issues.
