Abstract

The photo shows the land occupied by residential living, woodlands, wetlands, and farms. This 44"x32" foam posterboard photo was donated to Olivet Nazarene University by the Black family. The original photo board was oversized and in poor condition. It has been discarded.

Date of photograph is unknown. This record was uploaded to Digital Commons @ Olivet in 2020.

Comments

J.R. Black was an advocate for the conservation of the Kankakee River and spent many years collecting data and working with multiple organizations to preserve the Kankakee River Valley.
