This 26"x21" foam posterboard was donated to Olivet Nazarene University by the Black family. Each photo is 7.5"x10". The photos include a mad fishing at the Kankakee river, a wide shot of the banks of the river and two photos of the rock and sediment in the river. Benner Library's Digital Initiatives staff found the original content online and are providing a link to that source. J.R. Black was an advocate for the conservation of the Kankakee River and spent many years collecting data and working with multiple organizations to preserve the Kankakee River Valley.
