Abstract

Little is known about the risk factors, prevalence, or educational impact of indirect trauma in BSW student populations. This pilot study explores the prevalence of two types of indirect trauma (secondary traumatic stress and burnout) as well as compassion satisfaction in a sample of BSW students entering and completing their field placements.
