Intimate Partner Violence Screening in Retail-Health Clinics: The Views of the Family Nurse Practitioners

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to explore the 65 Retail Health Clinic (RHC) Family Nurse Practitioners (FNP) views on Intimate Partner Violence (IPV) knowledge, barriers, and roles on IPV screening based on a validated questionnaire. The conclusion is that the most ethical practice is for FNP's in RHCs to screen patients for IPV.
