Abstract

Most business schools offer a capstone Business Strategy course, which typically includes a combination of lectures and exercise with a heavy emphasis on case studies and company analysis, as well as strategy game simulations. We believe the Strategy course can be improved by using a Personal Strategic Plan (PSP), an exercise requiring students to apply analytical tools to their own lives and career plans. The presenters believe the PSP has applicability to a wide range of academic disciplines.
