Abstract
"Energid has approached the design team to help them explore free or open source software that will allow Energid to understand how to help provide support to their customers using ROS. The team will design, model, and simulate a robot. This robot must be supported and ROS and be able to be simulated in the Gazebo simulation software. The robot the team is using is already available at Olivet Nazarene University for free, and all of the software being used is also free to use. Whether or not this project is successful depends on two things: whether or not the robot can be controlled in the physical world, and whether or not the robot can be simulated in the virtual world.
