Abstract

Service-learning projects allow for meaningful, authentic, and collaborative learning spaces for students, but they can also be difficult to implement successfully. During this session you will learn about the service-learning projects that Cohort 10 of Olivet's Honors Program completed with local organizations during the spring of 2018. I will share details about how and why the project was established, the benefits and challenges of S-L projects, and the results from student and community partner surveys and interviews.
