Abstract
Our presentation will showcase the work of our Enactus team in developing and implementing the Food Recovery Network on our campus. In the last year, we have recovered nearly 10,000 lbs of food from our cafeteria and delivered it to our local Salvation Army. This project has not only fed hundreds of hungry people in our community, but it has also protected our environment by keeping this unserved food from winding up in landfills.
In addition, we will describe the work of our team in meeting the educational needs of these community members though finance and nutritional training.
