Abstract
This study examines the competing effects of a motivating incentive or pressure on an individual’s propensity to commit fraud. The study is conducted with 120 students from a medium sized Midwestern University, I conducted a 2x2 between-subject experiment by manipulating motivation (Incentive or Pressure) and level of motivation (High Motivation or Low Motivation).
