Abstract

The primary objective of this panel is to increase the awareness and the importance of all faculty applying "flipped classroom" and active teaching/learning methods in their classrooms in order to improve student learning, retention and achievement. Three faculty panelists share their experiences with flipped classrooms and active teaching/learning compared to the traditional method of lecturing and assigning homework outside of class.
