Abstract
This document, from a file folder labeled "Presentation Information Kit," among the papers of J.R. Black appears to be an update to the Kankakee River Basin Partnership (KRBP) in 2006 describing the current status of the organization regarding IRS non profit status, two funded grants, development of acreage in the channel at the Indiana / Illinois State Line, Adopt A River program by the Northern Illinois Anglers Association, removal of a log jam by Iroquois County, and continued existence of the CREP program in Illinois.

J.R. Black was an advocate for the conservation of the Kankakee River and spent many years collecting data and working with multiple organizations to preserve the Kankakee River Valley. His papers were donated to Olivet Nazarene University.
